Can you tell me more about GEOMAP?
Geomap Company was founded in 1959 and serves as one of the largest suppliers of geologic mapping services in the United States. For over 60 years, we have created regional, custom mapping solutions for industry professionals across the nation, making us the leader in subsurface geological maps. Founded and run by geologists, Geomap is dedicated to making your job as a geologist and researcher easier. We provide over 3,000 unique, custom maps which cover the major basins of America to help speed your business decision-making abilities. By taking unique, hard-to-find information, and combining the creative thought and research of our scientists, we produce the maps and the solutions both geoscientists and investors need. We can help you quickly get familiar with the structural setting of a new existing area, and provide an objective second opinion on other geological interpretations.
Our geologists are seasoned experts with decades of problem-solving experience, who can tailor a solution with our in-house information to fit your needs. Does your exploration team need a quick head start for a competitive edge on a new project? Our team can show you where to concentrate your efforts, and what areas to avoid. Are you feeling lost in a section, unable to find your correlation or wells of interest? Geomap has done the hard work for you with our jand contoured maps, all carefully crafted, tested, and verified by our experienced geologists.
For over 60 years, major oil companies, large independents, and many small explorations have relied on the expertise of our maps and exclusive geologic information, primarily through our private library-the largest geological library and the only national data library in the nation. Our 50,000-square-foot building contains some of the most difficult-to-find information on oil and gas exploration, carbon sequestration, lithium play research, geothermal projects, environmental projects, and saltwater disposal information for geologists to use in building their proprietary maps.
Skip the tedious regional work and let Geomap be your guide to the subsurface of geological discovery, so you can get ahead of the competition by knowing where to invest your time and money.
What does GEOMAP do?
1. We provide structural and production maps over the majority of Basins in the United States. Our structural mapping services quickly familiarize geoscientists with the structural setting of an area including faulting and unconformities.
Geom ap's structure maps provide an objective second opinion to other geologic interpretations.
These mapping services are kept up to date by a geologist in each basin, and when subscribed, library membership is included.
2. Provides the largest and only national library in the United States. Current, and hard to find historical good data like no other library available.
